Spicy Cilantro Green Beans

My father-in-law gave me a bundle of green beans last week as well as some anahiem chili peppers. On a whim I decided to throw them together and the result came out pretty tasty!

Spicy Cilantro Green Beans

A few handfuls of fresh green beans (enough for 4 servings) with the ends trimmed
1 anaheim chili, seeded and diced fairly small
2-3 tsp chopped fresh cilantro
1 lime, juiced
garlic, minced or the powder variety, to taste

Our ingredients, minus the garlic. I always feel that garlic should be up there next to salt and pepper on the short list of must-use spices.

Saute your green beans with a drizzle of olive oil for 5-10 min, depending on how crisp-tender you prefer them.

Add in cilantro, chopped pepper, and lime juice. Sprinkle with a smidge of garlic.
So, as you can see, my green beans got a little scorched b/c I got distracted and forgot to stir them. Yours should turn out prettier...unless you're forgetful like I am. :)
