Spicy Pita Chips

I love pita chips and they're so gosh darn easy to make that it just doesn't make sense to buy them in the store. Plus it help me feel like a domestic diva to do it myself. Just being honest here.

All right chip lovers, we're going to need at least three whole wheat pitas. Unless you are anti-whole wheat then go crazy and use the white bread variety.
Slice each pita in half. Run a knife through the pita's opening to cut each pita into four half circle shapes.

Like so. Don't worry if they're a little "rustic" looking. Rustic can be fun.

Slice the quartered pitas into triangular shapes - pretend you're cutting a pizza.

Layer the pita pieces on a baking sheet.

Brush the tops of the pitas with olive oil. Sprinkle granulated garlic, onion powder, chili powder, ground red pepper, and salt. Just use whatever amount feels right to you but be careful with the ground red pepper because that stuff can make them super spicy with just an extra sprinkle or two.
Toast the pita pieces in the oven at 415 for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye on them though because nobody likes burned chips...well, nobody that I've ever known.

Pile on a plate and dig in! They're super crispy and have so much more flavor than the ones in the store. Plus, you can feel like a domestic diva too! :)
