To be perfectly honest, I had a hard time getting into menu planning for this week. Every so often I have weeks where I just feel uninspired when it comes to cooking. However, I know that if I plan the menu out, I'll be much better off at the grocery store (instead of running up and down the aisles a million times) and not a frantic mess at dinner time. With that in mind, I pushed through the "cooking block" and came up with this:
Breakfasts: Eggs, cereal, turkey bacon, fruit smoothies, and muffins.
Lunches: Soup, salads, sandwiches, hummus, and leftovers.
Sunday - Steaks, asparagus and roasted red potatoes
Monday - Turkey Chili.
Tuesday - Out
Wednesday - Lamb schwarma with baked sweet potato fries
Thursday - Roasted chicken with broccoli au gratin
Friday - Grilled fish packets with vegetables and bread.
