Tried It and Loved It!

So for a couple years I've been a avid fan and reader of The Pioneer Woman's wonderful blog. It contains all the things that make me happy:

1. Kids and Family

2. Cooking

3. Home Improvement

4. Cattle Wrangling

5. More Cooking

Okay, so cattle wrangling doesn't actually make me happy but whatever. I live in Wyoming.

Now, the lovely PW can really cook. And it's all fantastic. And stuff you really want to eat. Her recipes are classic. Which I like. I don't really like to be trendy with my meals. I'm all about stuff that is proven and tasty.

Anyhow, my point in all this is that I wanted to strongly urge y'all to run over to PW's blog, print off her salsa recipe and then make it tonight. Or tomorrow. It's yummy.

I'm thrilled beyond words because the only other salsa that I really love is only available at Costco and the nearest one is an hour and half away. Geez.

Disclaimer: My lunch today consisted of this salsa and chips. It's irresistable.

  2. That recipe is pretty similar to the one I make, but I totally need to try hers!

  3. I love PW and bought her cookbook, I'm cooking my way through the entire book and I post about it with a friend every Tuesday :) I did her salsa recipe before I got the book and LOVE it, it's the only one I bother making now. My friends were amazed at the taste too. I usually get 3 or 4 mason jars filled with one recipe and pass a couple on to neighbors.

  4. @ Reagan - I haven't tried that one yet. I'll have to add it to my "To Make" list.

@ Annette - You'll have to give me the recipe sometime so I can compare. :)

@ Denise - That sounds like so much fun! And great idea to share the salsa. I made the latest batch for our Fourth of July party and still have wayyyy too much on my hands.
