It's that time of the week when I quickly share a tip to help you be even more spectacular in the kitchen.
This week - kebab prep.
If you're using wooden skewers for your kebabs, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before adding your vegetables and/or meat. Grill immediately after getting the skewers ready.
If you soak your wooden skewers like this, you'll save yourself from a world of hurt as the soaking method keeps the skewers from burning and turning into charcoal when you're grilling up the kebabs.
I like to add some weight on top to ensure that they're really submerged in the water.
I was going to show you the finished kebabs but every time I head out to grill, it rains. Gosh darn it.
