Happy Birthday!

Back in August of 2009, I really "officially" started this little blog. So I'm declaring it Birthday Month! I'm going to do two giveaways to help celebrate...because giveaways are half the fun of blogs. Right? Right.

Giveaway #1!

I have about 10 cookbooks but really only use one - The classic Better Homes & Gardens Cookbook! I love it. It has never failed me and is my go-to for when I don't feel like concocting my own recipes. Did I mention that I love it? In fact, it was one of the first things my husband bought me when we were newlyweds because I was over 1,000 miles from home and really missing my Mom's BHG Cookbook.

Anyhow, because it's my absolute favorite and because I love y'all and because I want y'all to love it too and because it's my BLOG'S BIRTHDAY - I'm giving away a copy of the newest edition...which isn't even out yet! It comes out on the 23rd of this month...which is also the day after my wedding anniversary and the day I head back to school for the Fall semester.

Here's a link to it on Amazon so you can get a preview.

How to Enter:

You will get one entry for doing any of the following options (or do them all so you can up your odds! Be sure and leave a comment for each entry).

1. Leave a comment stating you want to win.

2. Share this giveaway (or a link to one of my recipes) on your Facebook or Twitter account. Leave a second comment stating you did so.

3. Mention the giveaway (or just my blog) on your blog/website and leave an additional comment on here with the link to your post.

Giveaway open only to the residents of U.S., Canada and Mexico...for shipping reasons.

Giveaway closes on the 19th of August at 11:59 pm so enter today and tell your friends!

Disclaimer: I did not recieve anything from the fabulous people at Better Homes & Gardens. I'm simply giving this cookbook away because it's one of my favorite things and I couldn't get along without it. The end.

  18. Oh I want to win! I've just started learning to cook in the last couple of years (now that I'm nearly 40 years old) and I'm really enjoying the journey. This would be a great addition to my bookshelf!
