Sticker Removal

Hey y'all! It's been a little while since I last did one of these kitchen tips posts. The first half of my week is usually crazy busy with classes and mommy duties. But, I thought this was pretty nifty so I wanted to be sure and share it with you.

On Sunday, I happened to actually read our newspaper (I tend to buy it and then never actually read it) and it had this section where they were testing out different pantry items to see if they really worked as cleaners.

Peanut butter was tested for shaving and removing sticker goo. The shaving attempt was an epic fail but they said that it really worked for removing sticker goo.

And we happen to have this mirror that I've never completely removed the sticker goo from. It's one of those things that's always on your to-do list but you have a million other items on there too that are more important. Like laundry.

Anyhow, I decided to try the peanut butter remedy for myself.

Rub some of your favorite peanut butter onto the sticker goo.

Give it a good massage.

And it comes right off! There were a couple stubborn spots that needed a nudge from my fingernail but the peanut butter really loosened the goo so I could scratch it.

If you have sticker goo spots lurking in your house - try peanut butter!
