So I've mentioned this before - I'm super cheap. I'm not sure if it's a result of growing up in a large family with a very frugal father or the fact that during the first three years of married life, Khale and I were both super broke students.
Regardless, I really enjoy finding ways to save money.
One such way is washing and reusing plastic food storage bags (except I lack the motivation to do this for sandwich bags). And by doing so, I'm also being more environmentally-friendly. And I can't stand to throw something away just because there are a few crumbs in it.
Sometimes it's darn obnoxious trying to figure out how to dry out those bags once they've been washed.
But! A while back I happened to read something that changed my life.
Uhhh...apologies for my drama.
When the bag is wet - just press one side up against your kitchen walls or cabinets and they'll stick! Then, when they're dry, or darn close to it, they'll fall down and you can put them away.
What sort of really cheap/frugal things do you do to save money in the kitchen? Or am I the only weird one?
