Mother's Day

Mother's Day is coming up faster than I'd really care for it to. I do especially enjoy a day filled with cute homemade cards from my daughter and quality family time but I have yet to figure out what to get my mother and mother-in-law.

And I'm incredibly indecisive when it comes to buying gifts for people. I seriously spent 30 minutes in Pier 1 yesterday trying to decide which pattern I should select for my husband's secretary gift for Administrative Professsionals Day. 30 minutes on a pattern. I kid you not.

I have issues. Send help.

And therapy.

And a comfy couch. Ours has been taken over by a bernese mountain dog. Who is very jolly and sweet.

Anyhow! I thought that it would be fun to do a little online browsing to hopefully help y'all out if you're still in the market for a spectacular Mother's Day gift. These are all things that I've been drooling over and would make any kitchen-lovin'-mama a happy lady.
From Pier 1, these Zinnia prep bowls all nest inside each other and each one is also a measuring cup! And I love the pattern. For $14.95, it's hard to resist them.

One of my favorite stores, The Savory Spice Shop, has nifty gift sets of spices starting at $20. Pick one of theirs such as Better Baking or Dips for Chips or Delux Curry Lovers or....

If wanting kitchen appliances for Mother's Day is wrong, I don't want to be right! This is the Back to Basics Wooden 4 Quart Ice Cream Maker from Bed, Bath and Beyond ($49.99). I've been on a mission to get one of these bad boys for a while. And by golly, I've got to make it happen this Summer. Homemade ice cream is insane.

I have a serious love affair with dishes. Or maybe it's an addiction. I'm not really sure. I just know that I like them and easily fall in love in the serveware section. I love the classic quality of this mug from Etsy shop MossyRockPottery. There's a bunch of other colors too!

I also love wooden bowls. And this lovely large serving bowl is made from Mango wood and eco-friendly. Score! The rough (looking) edges are such a pretty contrast against the smooth body of the bowl.

I'll leave you with this final item, again from an Etsy store - the Queen Ann Table Runner.
Isn't it gorgeous?
I'm going to go swoon over this and all the other goodies in this shop.

  1. I do LOVE those nesting bowls. They don't go with my decor but soooo cute! I love Etsy!

I love feedback from y'all and try my best to respond to as many questions as possible.
