Remember when you were a kid and checking the mail was one of the best parts of your day? I totally felt that way when this guy showed up:
Isn't it pretty? High quality bamboo cutting boards are what all girls dream about, right?
This one is quite substantial in size - 22" x 16". I really appreciate all that chopping space. Small cutting boards can be a bit cumbersome to use when you're needing to chop more than one thing. Which, for me, is pretty much every meal.
One thing I didn't realize by looking at it online was how big the prep bowls were. As you can see, they're bigger than a standard ramekin - giving you plenty of room to hold ingredients until you're ready for them.
The holes that the bowls rest in are cut precisely so they fit perfectly and each as an indent on the edge so you can easily grab the prep bowl. And you can throw the bowls in the dishwasher; making cleanup easier.
I really like that it has these little feet on it. They keep the cutting board nicely balanced and prevent it from wobbling.
Well, hello, gorgeous.
I've been using this Core Bamboo cutting board for over a week and completely love it. The quality of this board is amazing (it might happen to weigh about 12 lbs) and I've yet to find anything I dislike about it. If you have a special cooking enthusiast in your life, you might want to consider spoiling them with one of these. Core Bamboo also has a slightly smaller size, with two prep bowls.
I've enjoyed this Pro-Chef Butcher's Block cutting board so much. I know y'all would be thrilled to have one in your kitchen - so how about a little giveaway?
