Big Sky

I'm currently chugging coffee like it's my job. We spent the weekend visiting family and got home late last night. Like early morning kind of late.

But we got to see my brother, his wife and kiddos, extended family and my inlaws. It was a very family-centric weekend; my favorite kind!

This is my sister-in-law and I. She's honestly one of the sweetest people I've ever met and I'm so happy my brother snatched her up. Actually, we ended up becoming family in two different ways - she married my brother seven years ago and then a year later I married her cousin, Khale.

This guy.

So we're pretty much stuck with each other when it comes to family gatherings. :)

Leah's parents own a Trout Shop and Lodge on the Big Horn River. We all crashed there and then headed up to the river in the morning.

Our lunch location. So relaxing and the food tasted so good after being out in the hot sun and water.

I'm forever attempting to capture a photo of the awesome big sky views that you get in Wyoming and Montana but my little camera just isn't up to the task.

Big open skies make my heart happy. Big open sky sunsets? Ri.dic.u.lous.

The kids started off just wading around in the water but it didn't take them long to go all the way in. Here they are playing sharks and mermaids.

I hope y'all had an awesome weekend!

  1. We went glamping. There are no words--or photos--to do justice to the awesomeness that was our weekend.
