School Lunches: Mother-Daughter Edition

I'm still packing lunches, although Lillian's fascination with buying her lunch is increasing. That might have something to do with the fact that she gets to have chocolate milk when she buys her meal.

My precious lady is quite the chatter box (outside of learning time - it's fun to see how quiet and attentive she is in the classroom) so she usually comes home with half of her lunch eaten and then finishes up the leftovers for her after-school snack. :)

I almost always brown bag my lunch when I have class so I can spend my lunch break with baby Harper at her nanny's house. So I thought it would be fun to show y'all the mother-daughter version of our lunches this week.

Hers: whole wheat biscuits, steamed peas, grilled chicken, and an apple
Mine: Grilled chicken and romaine in a pita with an apple.

Hers: Orange slices, strawberry yogurt, hummus and chips.
Mine: Roasted broccoli, chips, hummus, and greek yogurt.

Hers: homemade applesauce, blueberries, leftover grilled chicken and whole wheat apple bread.
Mine: Spinach and chicken salad with homemade applesauce.
